Your role and responsibilities:
In this varied role, you’ll provide essential support to the Operations Manager and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You'll also build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams to deliver excellent service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Sales Order Processing (SOP) and Purchase Order Processing (POP) from order receipt to invoicing
- Proactively organising service visits and scheduling engineers to resolve customer issues
- Ensuring stock availability to complete jobs efficiently
- Handling and resolving customer queries with a calm, solution-focused approach
- Collaborating with internal teams to address escalations
- Maintaining internal resources, including fire alarms, security and power systems
- Updating Sage with product pricing and customer account details
- Providing project support and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards
- Assisting internal sales support teams and liaising with clients on orders and call-offs
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a confident communicator with exceptional customer service skills
- Have experience in a similar operations or administration role
- Be highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Be comfortable in a proactive environment where problem-solving is key
- Experience with Sage and knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is a plus!
