Our client is on the lookout for a talented Cloud Solution Architect to deliver technical designs and solutions for our Hong Kong clients, focusing on cloud computing adoption. This role offers a unique chance to be a pivotal technical member of our Hong Kong team in a dynamic, rapidly growing business environment.

The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for leveraging emerging technologies to address complex enterprise challenges, and has experience in cloud solution presales and client-facing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical engagements and ensure successful implementation of projects.
• Define implementation architectures and respond to RFPs.
• Develop deep expertise in cloud offerings and general cloud computing technologies.
• Collaborate with offshore teams and external partners.
• Act as a subject matter expert for regional customers.
• Participate in pilot projects and develop technical solution demos using cutting-edge technologies.
• Present complex solutions and integrations clearly and effectively.
• Work closely with regional sales colleagues to develop business opportunities and achieve agreed business objectives.
• Design and propose solutions that meet client needs, showcasing the benefits of cloud services.
• Serve as a key liaison between sales and offshore solutions delivery teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful delivery.
• Provide technical enablement and updates to the country sales team.
• Act as a technical liaison for the country as part of a global shared service operation.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and operating scalable web applications or web services, and at least 3 years of experience with AWS.
• Strong foundational knowledge in domains such as microservices, databases, networking, security, and datacentre operations.
• Ability to understand and present complex technical topics to both technical and business leaders.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services, particularly AWS.
• Experience in architecting, designing, and migrating workloads to the public cloud.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) are preferred.
