At ConnectedGroup, we are working in partnership with The Women’s Foundation in the search for their Director of Pipeline Initiatives (Programmes). 

The Women’s Foundation (TWF) is a leading NGO dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong through research, programmes, education and advocacy. TWF is seeking a Director of Pipeline Initiatives (Programmes) to join its dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to help amplify TWF’s voice in the community and contribute to a range of programmes making an impact across Hong Kong.

The Director will be responsible to shape and drive the strategic direction of some of their core programmes (Mentoring Program for Women Leaders, Male Allies Programme, 30% Club Hong Kong, Boardroom and C-suite Leadership Programme, and the Gender Equality and Inclusion Working Group), contribute to their enhancement and execution, lead fundraising and partnership development efforts, and effectively grow and consolidate reach with the local community.

We are looking for a seasoned, passionate, and energetic leader, with strong communication skills in English, Cantonese/Mandarin are strongly preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to setting the strategic direction, operation and execution of all Pipeline Initiative Programmes, partnerships and initiatives, their growth, control, and their monitoring and evaluation. 
  • Responsible for the coordination and oversight of events and outreach activities, as well as for the curation of content and curriculum development. 
  • Leading corporate relationship management efforts for Pipeline Programmes, corporate partner annual renewal processes (including pitch preparation and the creation of relevant informational materials), and active new partner and sponsor outreach. 
  • Developing thought leadership, best practices and communications to showcase TWF’s pipeline programme work and more generally, to highlight issues and developments for a more gender inclusive workplace.
  • Leading key projects and special initiatives that relate to organisational growth, cross organisational and/or strategic impact.
  • Proactively identifying external and internal opportunities and challenges, and working with Senior Management team to address them.
  • Creating pathways to, and securing funding sources, including supporting in annual fundraising events and other similar initiatives. 
  • Leading, developing and motivating a diverse, passionate and dedicated team.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 15+ years of professional experience, with senior management experience (strong business acumen, strategic, managerial, organisational, revenue generation, communication and project management skills). NGO working experience is ideal, or corporate experience with DE&I focus.
  • Excellent program management skills and proven relevant experience.
  • Understanding and appreciation for women’s and gender issues, how gender inequality impacts society and how this influences the design and delivery of programmes and initiatives to advance gender equity.
  • Strong understanding and ties to the Hong Kong local community, with thorough understanding of and appreciation for DE&I and gender equality issues.
  • Experience in fundraising and managing donor relations including corporate relationship management
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills in English are required, Cantonese and Mandarin are strongly preferred.

 Candidates with less years of relevant experience may be considered as Associate Director.
