  • To work with the current team of people who manage the relationships with suppliers to ensure that all their current functions are included in the new functions design.
  • Actively champion the new model and function as it is created to ensure buy in from critical stakeholders, who will be key to its on-going success.
  • To be an integral part of the team who are implementing the new Strategic Supplier model so that you will have the necessary insight into the wider business requirements

What we require from the candidate:

  • Experience working with major technology partners, including offshore and near shore delivery
  • Experience of Business Change, ideally setting up new functions that manage relationships, innovation and value
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to see the wider picture beyond the immediate requirements to build a solution that will scale in the future
  • Personal impact and gravitas, being confident, credible, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication, investigative and organisational skills, and the ability to challenge constructively from a place of positive intent.
  • Vendor Management – managing the delivery, commercial and contractual relationship with strategic partners, is desirable
