Position: Storage L3 Administrator

Location: Vilinius, Lithuania

Duration: Permanent

Salary : 36,000 Euros per annum

Job Purpose:

• Storage SME are responsible for Monitoring, Incident and Change .
• Expert level knowledge in two of the following areas - EMC VNX/CLARiiON, EMC VMAX/DMX, VNX, VPLEX, IBM Flash 8xx NetApp Storage, Dell and Hitachi Environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills in above.
• In-depth understanding about SAN, fabrics and Host to SAN connectivity.
• In-depth understanding of NAS Protocols (CIFS and NFS)
• Follow ITIL processes - Incident management, Problem management, Change management, Performance management, Capacity management, Configuration & availability management activities.
• "Participate in Change & release management
• Plan & Implement routine, normal & complex changes
• Participate in CAB and TAB
• Raise change requests where required"
• Knowledge about using ticketing system for daily operations - Service Center.
• Ability to lead escalations - within Storage and cross platform.
• Participate or lead storage projects independently.
• Excellent communications, customer service & documentation skills, oral and written.

Job Scope:

Minimum of 5+  years’ of experience in Storage technology with a strong understanding of following areas:

• Hands-on experience on EMC VNX/CLARiiON, EMC VMAX/DMX, Cisco/Brocade and NetApp Storage or other storage arrays.
• Trouble shooting knowledge on EMC VNX/CLARiiON, EMC VMAX/DMX, VPLEX Cisco/Brocade and NetApp Storage or other storage devices.

CERTIFICATIONS DESIRED:

• "EMC Storage Administrator track
• Level - Specialist or Expert
• Specialty - VNX or Symmetrix Solutions "
• "NetApp Certified Data Administrator
• Storage Networking Professional or Data Protection Solutions Professional"
• Hitachi Vantara Qualified Professional - Storage Administration
• ITIL Foundations Certification

Technology buzzwords:

• Knowledge of Storage product suits like EMC (VMAX2, VNX 5000, Clariion – Cx4, Centera A33EA, VPLEX, IBM Flash8xx) ,  NetApp (FAS 6000 series, FAS 3000 series, FAS 2000 series), Hitachi, Dell
• Knowledge of Backup products like TSM, NetBackup, Networker.
