BI Engineer
6 months - Hybrid - London
Initially working on visualization, analytics and BAU data tasks beside a number of global technical and non-technical teams. Eventually expanding your knowledge to understand the entire data architecture and data models. You’ll work on outlining short term to long term roadmaps and see them through to completion. The end goal is for you to improve ETL pipelines and to create a single singe source of truth to push improvements on key business decisions.
Day to Day duties
Own
The visualisation design, their development & maintenance for reports, analyses, dashboards
Ideate & Create
New metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve overall performance and future measurements
Define
Data elements & structure to innovate analytical and reporting capabilities
Design & Influence
Internal reporting and analytics best practices
Prepare & Deliver
Operational reviews
Engineer
The DWH to maximise the storage and future acquisition of KPIs
Participate
Global and local planning discussions (tactical, strategical etc.)
Preferred Skillset
AWS inc. EC2, DynamoDB, S3, & Redshift
Complex data mining background & ETL development/maintenance experience
Minimum Experience
5+ years with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL
Tableau and/or Quicksight
Data modeling
Python
