Position Title: Motorsport Chassis CAD Designer
Duration: Contract
Location: Remote working - 2 or 3 days per month onsite Cumbria
Essential Criteria:
- Our Client is actively recruiting for a Motorsport Chassis Design Engineer to join a team of highly skilled Design Engineers in their Design Department.
Duties will include:
- Delivering innovative engineering solutions from initial concepts through to production.
- Fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Verification of designs through own analysis and CAE.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have at least 2 years’ experience as a design engineer in a mechanical engineering automotive or motorsport environment.
- Have good knowledge of CATIA V5
- Knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and materials is essential.
- Have meticulous attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.
- Have excellent interpersonal, relationship and team building skills.
- Experience on mechanical systems, suspension and chassis structures using CATIA V5.
