Salary: £11.66 p/h
Hours: Monday to Thursday- 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday- 7:30 AM to 4:00 AM
Contract: Full-time, temporary until 03/06/2024 with possibility of extension
Brook Street Ltd are pleased to announce a readily available position in Havant for an experienced Warehouse Operative. Our client is part of a dynamic and growing warehouse team dedicated to providing high-quality logistics services to their clients. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join their team. If you have experience in warehouse operations, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and wrapping pallets according to client orders.
- Receiving and processing incoming goods.
- Conducting occasional paint mixing and aerosol labeling tasks.
- Operating forklifts to move and stack goods (training provided if necessary).
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting.
- Forklift experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
