About the job:
As the Pipeline Installation Engineer you will be responsible for a range of business critical task Including:
- Overall technical integrity of Rigid pipeline design premises, installation design, Pre-Commissioning
- Underwater subsea system installation compliance with Project and Company standards, international standards and engineering best practices
- To review and approve the Installation engineering documentation issued by installation contractors of Rigid Pipeline installation in compliance with project specifications, company procedures (including HSEQ).
- To support Installation coordinator to review installation contractor plans and schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives, and to monitor contractor performance against plan.
- To participate to EFAT and SIT campaign, if required.
- To liaise with other package engineer ( SURF T&I - EPCI2) to organize interface , technical clarification meeting between different contractors involved in the project, if required.
- To participate to Vessel mobilization (Malaysia).
- To participate to offshore installation campaign (Indonesia).
- Follow up subsea system installation and Pre-Commissioning activities.
- Contractors weekly / monthly progress report review and acceptance.
- Interfacing with the installation contractor during offshore operations.
Requirement:
To succeed in this role you must possess the following skills & experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related
- Minimum 7 years in Oil & Gas industry - offshore (Conventional and Deepwater and S-lay experience) supervision experience or offshore field engineering.
- Specialist Knowledge: Rigid pipelay Engineering and Installation knowledge.
- Organisation Processes: Feed-back development and diffusion, Documentation management, Site accountancy, Contract Management.
- Supports and technologies: Technical requirement and International Standard.
- Construction & Installation: Integration Testing, Installation , Offshore Installation Supervision, Basic knowledge on welding ,Logistics.
- Project Management: Data Books, Oper. & Decom. Manual, Close-Out Report Preparation.
- Willing to be based in Jakarta office and manufacturing site or offshore location.
- Upon Offshore Installation Campaign: Rotation expected to be 3:1 – based on Installation contractor schedule.
- Willing to commit for 1 year contract, project aim to complete in 1.5 years schedule.
