Global Logistic company is looking for IT Manager (Infrastructure) Role.



Description

This position is for IT Manager role in Japan.

Overall management of technical service centres, office automation related development, production scheduling, help desks, communication networks (voice and data) and computer systems operations and administration.

Plans and oversees the research, evaluation and integration of new technology, capacity planning, training and technical support.

Safeguards and ensure IT security - hardware and network components. Overall accountable for IT Budget and the planning of IT Budget for other BUs.

◼ Responsible for daily activities of the for Support and Infrastructure group

◼ Provide guidance and direction to the Support and Infrastructure group

◼ Act as technical advisor to team and organization

◼ Ensure appropriate security procedures are implemented to safeguard SchenkerSeino’s systems, hardware, network and data from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized access and data damage

◼ Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources

◼ Formulate and define technical scope and objectives of project

◼ Write proposals, purchase justifications and progress reports

◼ Ensure adequate and up to date documentation

◼ Establish knowledgebase

◼ Ensure that goals or objectives of projects/team are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters

◼ To understand global GOIS standards and work with Regional IT and Global IT in implementing those the global standard in the country

◼ Liaise with Regional and Head Office GOIS teams to perform network and infrastructure planning

◼ Introduce IT policies to cover access controls, disaster recovery etc.

◼ Manage Cloud Activities in country and liaise with Regional/Global teams to ensure optimal service in country 2

◼ General administration of staff such as performance appraisal, training needs, etc

◼ Identify opportunities for improvements and implement improvements; internal as well as business process ◼ Coordinates security investigations and executes preventive measures

◼ Research, evaluate and integrate new technology and solutions

◼ Guide development of corporate information security standards, procedures and guidelines for all systems in organization

◼ Guide development of disaster recovery standards, procedures and guidelines for all systems in organization

◼ Ensure GOIS financials/Budget are planned - including decentralized costs for other BUs

◼ Manage resource allocation and resource scheduling

◼ Manage competing demands on the limited IT resources

◼ Direct and align team to business approved projects / activities

◼ Provide assistance to team as required

◼ Ensure knowledge sharing amongst team

◼ Act as a role model

◼ Manage performance of individuals in teams

◼ Employ appropriate communication strategies

◼ Delegate effectively

◼ Other duties as directed



Candidate's Profile

- 10 year’s work experiences in IT Support work under multi-user environment

- Financial control experience for the team or department

- Staff or team management experience

- Project management skills
