Job Purpose:
The objective of this role is to lead a finishing team to produce finished goods to the agreed specifications and standards and achieve the daily planned output within the estimated labour hours.
Main mission
- Ownership and accountability of line leadership
- Follow company procedures and processes
- Manage team in line with procedures and processes
- Achieve daily planned target outputs
- Monitor quality throughout production controlling waste levels
- Accurate record keeping of production outputs, waste, and stock within company systems
- Create a culture of Health & Safety awareness, good manufacturing practice, high quality standard, good housekeeping
- Good communication with regular briefs to team
- Building team effectiveness throughout the production, technical, quality and logistics teams
- Understand improvement techniques
- Actively involved in projects, plan, organise, arrange all that is needed to make it happen in operations
- Maintain good facilities in the department, monitor ergonomics working environments for staff
- Carry out any other duties as requested by Manager
