Hi All, I'm currently recruiting for an investment banking client who is looking to bring on a senior Data engineer, the right candidate will have excellent Oracle SQL & PL/SQL coding experience.
Candidates should have:
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL coding, operating within a contemporary software delivery framework (Agile/Lean, TDD, BDD, pair programming, CI/CD, SRE, etc.).
• Accomplished in handling very large databases, intricate data models, and possessing an extensive knowledge of physical data structures and their optimization, with a preference for expertise on Exadata appliances.
• Demonstrated expertise in Oracle performance tuning, employing Real Time SQL Monitoring, the wait interface, ASH, AWR, Enterprise Manager/Cloud Control, and event traces.
• A comprehensive grasp of statistical principles and the ability to convey information through compelling dashboards, ideally utilizing modern industry platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, Splunk, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
• Experience or certification with one of the major public cloud providers.
• Familiarity with Java development using Spring Boot, coupled with proficiency in crafting RESTful web services. Additionally, competence in front-end development using React is considered a valuable asset.
