Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 + commission

 

We are working exclusively with a business that offers a niche product and who have built an unbelievable following, including high-net-worth clients, celebrities and royalty. 

Reporting into the Directors, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the store, providing excellent customer service, and managing staff performance. However, this role is more than just store management! You will bring with you your excellent organisation skills, a strong eye for detail, able to adapt and change in a fast pace environment. You will be able to remain calm under pressure, ensuring that the highest level of service in store as well as aftercare is well maintained, and all staff are adhering to high expectations. 

Offering a stunning and niche product, you will have a passion for art, design and interiors, as well as understanding the challenges that come with managing high price points, shipments and VIP clients. 

Showroom Manager – the role:

  • Manage the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management and staff scheduling.
  • Organise shipment of high value items in the UK and internationally ensuring, products are carefully packaged and the correct procedures are followed.
  • Ability to retain important product information to relay to clients, with the ability to communicate via different channels: Face to Face, Email, Phone. 
  • Develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction in order to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor store performance against budgeted targets and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Train, motivate and develop team members in order to create a high-performing retail environment that meets company standards for quality customer service and operational excellence.
  • Lead by example with excellent product knowledge and a positive attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, pricing changes, promotions etc., using POS systems or other software tools available in the store.

 

Showroom Manager – the person:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Manager in the retail - preferably with a niche, bespoke retailer, in art, jewellery, interiors, design.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail. 
  • Experience working with High-Net-Worth clients.
  • Good IT literacy including knowledge of EPOS systems and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets while maximising profit margins through effective cost management techniques.
