Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
Salary: £15 - £16 per hour + overtime at enhanced rates

About the Role

We are recruiting for a skilled MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join a railway engineering company in Derby. This permanent, full-time role offers immediate starts, working on train component maintenance and manufacturing.

You will be responsible for repairing damaged railway components, fabricating from scratch, and working with steel and aluminium in a range of thicknesses. The role may occasionally require working away, with expenses covered and a company van provided for travel.

Key Responsibilities
• MIG and TIG welding on steel and aluminium (1mm - 12mm, occasional 50mm).
• Fabrication from scratch based on technical specifications.
• Repairing damaged train components to a high standard.
• Position welding in various positions as required.
• Occasional off-site work with expenses paid.

About You
• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Ability to fabricate from scratch using technical drawings.
• Positional welding skills are essential.
• Driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
