A prestigious global law firm is seeking to expand its London competition and antitrust practice by adding a skilled lawyer with 0 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in UK and EU competition law. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a market-leading UK and EU competition group.
The position involves advising on a broad range of antitrust matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in key areas, including EU and UK merger control, Article 101/Chapter 1 cases such as cartel investigations, abuse of dominance (Article 102/Chapter 2), and competition litigation. A strong interest in working across all areas of antitrust is essential.
Candidates should ideally have spent time working in London or Brussels and have experience interacting with the European Commission and/or UK competition authorities. The role requires a candidate who can effectively manage client relationships and assist clients with day-to-day issues.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to take on significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a friendly and non-hierarchical environment. They must have trained with a top-tier international or city law firm, with at least one seat in competition and antitrust, coupled with a first-class academic record.
