Job Title: Corporate Lawyer

A highly rated, award-winning corporate team is looking for an ambitious Corporate Associate with a minimum of 4 years' PQE to join their London office. The team advises a wide range of businesses, from entrepreneurs and SMEs to financial institutions and FTSE 100 companies. The team offers expert guidance on M&A, private equity, capital markets, and corporate governance.

The role will involve working with a high-performing team led by experienced Partners in M&A, private equity, and capital markets. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in handling private equity matters, as well as managing clients with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal services to clients with a focus on M&A, private equity, capital markets, and joint ventures.
• Demonstrate strong financial management and commercial awareness, including time recording, billing, and achieving firm targets.
• Drive business development opportunities to retain existing clients and attract new business.
• Maintain up-to-date technical expertise and ensure compliance with SRA competence standards.
• Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision and contribute to the development of junior team members.

The Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen and the ability to handle complex corporate matters with minimal supervision. They will have a proven track record in managing their own caseload, meeting client expectations, and demonstrating sound case management skills. Experience in private equity is essential, along with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build client relationships, and a proactive approach to business development.
