We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Carpenter / Wet Trade Multi Operative to join the responsive repairs team in Houghton Regis on a local housing association contract.  

Responsibilities:

  • Completing a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, bricklaying and decorating (as applicable) to a high standard and in line with company standards and specification whilst delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Using an electronic personal digital assistant device to receive and record work
  • Maintaining appropriate van stock and ensuring orders are placed with suppliers and comply with the group specifications
  • Participating in out of hours (OOH) standby cover

Requirements: 

  • Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
  • City & Guilds 6219-07 Multi Craft Diploma OR in trade relevant skill
