IT Architect / Project Manager (m/f/x)

In this newly-opened position, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager /Architect in Vienna, Austria, to lead strategic digital transformation projects, reporting to the Head of IT. You will be a key member of the IT department for an international company group that is market-listed and very successful in the retail real estate industry. Within this creative and motivated environment you will be able to manage important projects with state-of-the-art tools and technologies and be a crucial figure within the organization.

Your role

• Take on the main responsibility to lead company-wide digital transformation projects
• Help to define the strategies together with members of the management team
• Continued development of the entire IT System Architecture/Landscape
• Further improvement of the internal processes
• A strong passion for working with various teams and stakeholders including entire IT department, such as Application Management, Master Data Management, and Infrastructure, as well as external partners

Your experience

• A technical degree or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge with Microsoft tools, such as MS Dynamics NAV, Business Central, 365
• Previous experience with various business applications and application management
• You have some experience with interface technologies such as SOAP, REST, Open Data Protocol
• Basic security know-how to prevent hacking scenarios and best-practice standards
• MS SQL database experience as well as with relevant reporting services and platforms
• Great communication skills in English (primary company language) and German (min. B2-level preferred)
