Salary: £23 - £30 per hour

About You:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic occupational therapist to work within the Orthopaedic Therapy team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The role will require strong rehabilitation skills and complex discharge planning skills, with the ability to work autonomously under pressure.  You will require a sound clinical understanding of acute orthopaedic conditions (both trauma and elective), general surgery and experience of managing patients with mild traumatic brain injuries.  You will require strong manual handling skills.

 The role will be supporting with leadership of the occupational therapy team, including supervision of junior staff, coordination of the OT service across three wards and the provision of staff training.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist with:

• HCPC registration.
• UK-recognised occupational therapy diploma/degree.
• NHS Experience essential
• Acute experience in core areas
• Discharge planning skills
• previous experience of supervising staff and providing day to day operational leadership.
