Looking for a flexible and impactful physiotherapy role in the NHS?
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join the team at UHL, University Hospital Llandough, part of Cardiff and Vale University Health Baord - we are seeking an energetic individual to work within the winter medicine ward.
We are looking for an experienced senior clinician with excellent clinical decision making who can help set up & deliver on a newly created Integrated Assessment Care Unit within an acute hospital site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and treating non acute patients
- complex discharge planning
- Supporting physiotherapy support staff delivering exercise programmes prior to the patients move to discharge destination.
- Organising group work
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:
- Physiotherapy degree (BSc) or diploma.
- HCPC Registration.
- Proven experience relative to role and experience in discharge planning.
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience.
- At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass an enhanced background check.
