Salary: £20-£25 per hour

Medacs Healthcare  are seeking an experienced and energetic individual to work within the ED & Acute Medicine services at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.

The role will work between the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Unit.  The role will require strong occupational therapy skills across a broad range of specialities, inclusive of cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, medical and neurology.

The individual will also be expected to demonstrate discharge planning skills, the ability to work autonomously under pressure, and manage complex rehab of patients. There will be an expectation to work flexibly between the area. The role would suit an OT or PT with interest and experience within these areas or at least acute medicine.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:

• Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy degree (BSc) or diploma.
• HCPC Registration.
• NHS acute experience

• HCPC registration

• NHS acute experiencing
• Head injury assessment and treatment skills for OT / Respiratory assessment and treatment skills for Physio
• Experience in: acute medicine, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics and neurology

Desirable Skills:

• CSP
• Experience in ICU
