Morgan Hunt is working with a leading and forward thinking organisation to recruit a Scrum Master on a Permanent basis. This position can be worked in either London or Birmingham. 

As a Scrum Master, you will be part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional Scrum team. You'll advise and lead the team on Scaled Agile Framework values, principles, and Scrum framework to ensure that the team is fully functional, productive, and focused on the Program Increment Objectives. 

 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate scrum ceremonies for multiple scrum teams including the daily stand-up, sprint planning, grooming, demos and retrospectives. 
  • Works with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution. 
  • Ensures consistency and adherence to company standards, processes and policies for all projects. 
  • Responsible for Process Improvement initiatives within the organization or enterprise. 
  • Helps determine and maintain overall team velocity and capacity with regards to the team's roadmap of projects and planning/prioritization. 
  • Serve as Agile Framework champion and coach teams and stakeholders on value of agile/scrum across the organizations. 
  • Track and report on scrum team performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through consistent communication and coaching scrum values. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Certified Scrum Master or Professional Scrum Master (CSM/PSM).
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience of managing Scrum of Scrums. 
  • Able to work with multiple teams in a Scrum Master role and is focused on the successful processes and outcomes related to those teams. 
  • Works with the Product Owner to ensure that the team's backlog is well groomed and actionable - defining acceptable states of issues. 
  • Prior experience of working with globally located teams. 

The details: 

  • Permanent Role 
  • £74k per annum 
  • London or Birmingham based 
  • Hybrid working: 1-3 days a week in the office 
  • Holidays + Pension
