The Role:
I am working with a global manufacturer in Redditch, who are seeking a multi-skilled engineer to join their friendly and supportive team. The roles are responsibilities are as follows:
- Respond quickly to breakdowns
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance
- Following maintenance schedule
- Identify cost saving and efficiency improvements
- Provide technical support to all departments
- Update documentation to time-scales
Skill and Experience
- Verbal communication
- Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical control systems and PLC’s
- Attention to detail and quality
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
- HNC / HND in relevant engineering discipline or similar qualification
