I am working on behalf of a global client, operating from Oxfordshire. They specialise design manufacturing and are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. Are you ready to take your engineering creativity to the next level? My client is seeking a talented and innovative Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to be an integral part of their dynamic team.
The Role:
- Use concepts, drawings and schematics to innovate and create
- Components Specification
- Rendering of machines and concepts
- Adhere to international standards as set out by the Design Manager
- Create comprehensive pneumatic designs
- Initial concepts
- Working with the Design and the Applications team to manage workloads and deadlines
- Hands-on mechanical building of designs
Key Skills / Experience:
- Experience in Industrial Automation
- 4+ years in Design Engineering
- Understanding of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
- Well organised, managing workloads and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Experience in Inspection machinery
- Use of rendering software (Blender, Visualize)
- Experience of 3D printing
