Maintenance Engineer – 3 Months Fixed Term Contract - Gloucester

£30,000 - Monday to Friday – 25 Days Holiday + BH – Opportunity for permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients around Gloucester.

This company are a well established manufacturer, and an industry leader in what they do supplying into some of the largest aviation companies across the UK.

This is a 3 months fixed term position, with potential to be a permanent position after depending on the candidate. They are looking for someone who is an experienced Maintenance Engineer within aerospace industries, and experience with maintenance audits and AS9100.

Package and Benefits:

• £40,000
• Monday to Friday
• 25 Days Holiday + BH
• Opportunity for permanent

Role & Responsibilities:

• Improving maintenance across the site.
• Putting in maintenance plans and schedules in place.
• Heavily involved in applying AS9100 standards.
• Installation and project work.
• Adhering to all health and safety policies.
• Primarily mechanical maintenance on a broad range of production machinery.
• 50% reactive maintenance, 50% planned preventative maintenance.
• Completing all maintenance documentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical engineering qualification / apprenticeship trained.
• Experience within Aerospace / AS9100.
• Ideally 18^th edition (not essential)
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Able to start immediately.
