Our client is a leading provider of design and build services for control panels. Working into a variety of manufacturing and process environments, this role combines electrical design with controls and automation tasks.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Using CAD to create Electrical schematics such as loop diagrams, drawing PLC wiring diagrams and panel layouts
• Upgrading existing controls schemes
• Parts lists and BOMs based on the schematics
• Creating LV Distribution and cable calculations
• Machine safety circuit design to ISO 13849/60261 (manufacturing and machinery standards)
• Creating Technical documentation
• Assisting the on-site Electrical/ Controls Engineers with any issues

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
• Electrical Engineering Qualification
• Knowledge of HMI/PLC Systems
• Willingness to travel across UK on occasion
• Good manner with Clients and Suppliers
