I'm working with an engineering firm based in Northampton who have grown and added new machinery due to continued customer growth. They are currently looking to bring in a Quality Engineer to the team to assist with the Quality Management System, as well as operating and programming the CMM machinery.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work along side the quality inspectors and production supervisors to ensure quality to high tolerances
- Programme and Operate the CMM machinery & 3D Scanners
- Drive the Quality Management System
- Utilize engineering drawings to inspect components
- Work to ISO9001 standards
- Drive continuous Improvements across the factory
- Support Customers and Cliets with queries, questions and problems
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to programme and Operate CMM machinery and 3D scanners
- Full right to work in the UK
