Our client is a multinational business which now operates across 50 countries and over 80% of the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a PLC Controls Engineer to join their team. This role will be primarily based in Norwich, with weekly travel to sites across the UK, and opportunities to travel abroad occasioanlly!
Role & Responsibilities:
- PLC Programming, Commissioning, Fault Finding and Problem Solving
- Working on Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider and Beckhoff Systems
- Creating and Modifying PLC Applications
- Offering remote Support to National and International Clients
- Liaising with Electrical teams for Problem Solving and Assistance
- Maintaining Software records
- Installing and Configuring Systems on site
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 2-3 years experience in a Controls/ PLC Engineering role
- Ability to Write, Program, Configure, Install, Commission and Repair PLC Systems
- Flexibility around hours and ability to travel nationwide once or twice a week
