Estimator (Construction)

Swansea 

£30,000 to £50,000

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the construction industry, excellent analytical skills and a solid ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and other team members.
Main Duties: 

• Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional information when necessary.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and assist in preparing bid proposals.
• Review and analyse project drawings and specifications to determine the scope of work and resources.
• Prepare bills of quantities detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor services.

Qualifications:
• Strong understanding of the construction industry, including the processes, materials and methods.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g. Evaluate or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related field (Desirable)
