Finance Operations, Assistant Manager - Insurance (A024007) Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong

Salary: Annual Bonus

 Our client is a leading international insurance provider, looking for a high-caliber candidate to support a team and maintain finance operation processes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review the balance sheet accounts reconciliations
  • Manage the daily financial operation i.e. AP, AR, payments
  • Promptly address any exceptions found in the reconciliations
  • Identify any internal control weaknesses based on the reconciliation analysis
  • Work with stakeholders to address reconciliation exceptions or variances
  • Participate in projects, such as automating transaction matching, and provide input for process and system enhancements
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks when required

 

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business preferred
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience in the insurance industry, preferably life insurance accounting experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Familiar with the operation of SAP/accounting system/software
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer
