Salary: GBP55000 - GBP65000 per annum

Business Support Manager- £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience + Bonus - Southampton - Fully Remote

As the Business Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations while providing high-level support to the executive team and their clients, who rely on your expertise to scale their business. This multifaceted position demands a proactive, organised, and adaptable professional capable of managing diverse responsibilities with efficiency and finesse.

Key Responsibilities: 

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring efficient processes and workflows.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives throughout the UK, Europe and South Africa to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline business functions.
  • Monitor budgets and financial operations, providing regular reports to senior management.

Executive Assistant (EA) Duties:

  • Working closely with the MD to ensure that he is on track with multiple projects globally
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports for executive review.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Assist in organising overseas company events, meetings, and conferences.

Client Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and ensuring client needs are met.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, ensuring all necessary preparations are in place.
  • Understanding clients needs and proposing how you can support and scale their business
  • Maintain and update client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in drafting client proposals, contracts, and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinating meetings with new clients eager to explore how your expertise can benefit their business

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operations/business management, executive support, or client relations roles.
  • Relevant business degree
  • Multitasking Ability: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, people and tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions independently.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • High level of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • A strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
