At Westcon-Comstor we’re looking for an experienced, creative and savvy Social Media Manager to join our EMEA Cybersecurity and Next Gen Solutions marketing team. Reporting directly into the EMEA Vendor Marketing Director Cybersec and NGS, you’ll essentially be a pretty big deal. You’ll be part of a rapidly growing business unit in a fast-growing industry. You’ll be the team’s subject matter expert on all things social & new media, while also having a seat at the table with your name on it in our powerful global social media team to develop and execute industry-leading campaigns and you’ll feel rewarded for your efforts.
The role is remote and can also be based anywhere in Europe. Fluent, business English at a written and spoken level is mandatory.
Your daily schedule will look like this:
• Develop, manage and execute the social editorial calendar to support company goals and drive increased brand awareness, engagement and enablement
• Own and support most effective use of social media budgets for the Cybersecurity & NGS business
• Manage the day-to-day handling of all our primary social media platforms including: LinkedIn, Twitter et al.
• Develop highly impactful and visual digital campaigns, working closely with our legendary studio team
• Support content development with a clear call to action
• Own and manage our social media management platform Oktopost
• Work collaboratively with key marketing stakeholders across Europe, Middle East and Africa
• Proactively engage cross-functional colleagues to learn about/ understand industry and trends
• Define KPIs and manage social media reporting
• Optimise social media content and activity based on data-driven insights
• Curate and report on relevant industry and competitive social media activity and themes to shape strategy
• Support in coaching and train colleagues to develop social media skills, providing best practice guidance as and when required

ABOUT YOU
• Fluent English speaker
• Strong b2b social media management experience, ideally in tech.
• Solid working knowledge and experience of managing social media channels (LinkedIn in particular) and social media management tools.
• Proven success managing paid media campaigns
• An analytical mind and natural problem solver with the ability to use data to optimise activity
• Solid understanding of SEO, Google Analytics and additional web analytics
• Excellent copywriting, storytelling and editing skills
• Experience of managing agencies
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Strong teamwork, good communication and interpersonal skills, and building/maintaining collaborative relationships
• Flexible, resilient and down to earth, willingness to learn
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
