About the Role:

We are looking for two candidates who are eager to start their office careers:

1. Finance Assistant (Entry-Level)
2. Sales Assistant (Entry-Level)

These roles are perfect for either a diligent numerical person with a keen interest in either finance or an outgoing, confident person who has an interest in business and customer service/sales. The initial phase will be a trial run from now until Christmas, allowing you to experience the work environment and some practical computer based tasks firsthand. You’ll be paid weekly during this period, giving you the chance to see if this job and business are the right fit for you.

If you enjoy the work and the company, there is potential for a long-term opportunity, as successful candidates will be offered a two-year employed Apprenticeship following the trial period which will give you two years of practical work experience and a Level 2 or 3 vocational qualification in Customer Services or Finance. On successfully completing this, you could be offered a promotion and pay rise to really get your office career underway.

What We’re Looking For:

• Min. 18-year-old candidates with Grade 5 or above in Maths and English
• Enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and earn
• Confident computer skills, with accurate keyboard abilities
• Reliable to arrive at work on time and a good attendance record
• Desire to continue learning – your Apprenticeship will be a mix of office and college days
• Personable and confident, willing to engage with colleagues and ask questions and bring ideas
• A strong desire to start a career in finance or sales

Location:

The company is based on the Hitchin Industrial Estate, approximately a 25 minute walk from Hitchin train station. Local candidates will benefit from the convenience of walking to work or using nearby bus services. Parking is available for cars and bikes.
