Data Engineer 

32 - 40 hrs 

One of our clients, a leading European Bank is looking for a skilled data engineer to join their team! This position is in the Data Services Reporting department, responsible for ensuring the information needs of internal and external parties in the areas of Finance and Risk are met.

As a Data Engineer, you tackle the back end of the Data Warehouse, navigating a challenging landscape with extensive datasets, intricate logic, and evolving dynamics driven by emerging technologies and regulatory changes. Leveraging stellar analytical and technical ETL skills, you collaborate with your team to deliver impressive outcomes. Your focus includes implementing data solutions consistently and ensuring quality and maintainability within established frameworks. Specializing in transforming and integrating intricate and sizable data structures, you excel in designing forward-looking, flexible, and resilient Data Warehouse models

What do you bring to the table?

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Academic/HBO education and work level
• Proficient in both Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Expertise in data management languages (SQL, DAX, MDX)
• Familiarity with the Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
• Experience with Software Development tools (Visual Studio, version control tools)
• Knowledge of architecture, data warehouse concepts, and the Kimball methodology
• Proficient in data warehouse testing
• Enjoys a mix of business and BI, with a keen ability to focus and simplify complex concepts
