Principal Software Asset Management Engineer / Architect (SAM Lead) Manchester, England
Salary: | GBP60000 - GBP70000 per annum + Car Allowance, Bonus, pension & more |
Looking to step up in your Software Asset Management career, lead technical teams, architect solutions, and be hands-on within an enterprise environment? Look no further...
This is a cracking opportunity for a SAM specialist to play a significant role in an enterprise-scale online tech business.
Your new company have millions of customers across the globe and, as such, have a significant software estate. We need you to work closely with the Head of Asset Management to architect, develop and configure solutions and processes.
An ITSM specialist, you’ll have a keen interest in SAM – in particular, you’ll understand how applications are put together and be experienced in knowing what data needs to be pulled from databases, and how.
You’ll be looking for a hands-on SAM position where you can dive into software applications and work out what’s going wrong. You’ll also take ownership of reviewing processes and reporting – we want your thoughts on how these can be improved, as well as what new tools can be implemented.
It’s a Remedy environment though we’re not fussed if your experience is ServiceNow. The key technical skill needed for this Software Asset Management post is SQL.
You may be coming from a SAM Engineer background, or perhaps you’re a Solution / Technical Architect with a focus on Asset Management.
You’ll be joining a down-to-earth environment, where the teams are close knit, and where your Manager is keen to give you the support and mentoring to operate at a senior, influential level. I know from experience hiring other Engineers there are multiple career paths, including leadership and architecture.
You’ll enjoy a hybrid working environment (2 days in the office) and take advantage of salary package to £70k. Benefits include a fantastic achievable bonus scheme to 30%, a car allowance of up to 5k, a heavily subsidised canteen, gym membership and flexible benefits.
