My client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join the team. 

Location: London

On-site Requirements: Hybrid

Position: Permanent

Salary: £70,000-£80,000

As a Data Engineer you will:

• Maintain and enhance existing architecture, data pipelines, and integrations
• Manage existing platforms end to end
• Be familiar with M365 background to be able to support the M365 environment
• Design and implement data governance methodology for tracking data lineage and provenance
• Develop direct data exchanges and real-time integration's between systems
• Build and maintain API management layer to promote Microsofts API and Data capabilities 
• Implement solutions for ingesting data from disparate systems and ensure compliance with archiving and retention requirements
• Lead Azure subscriptions supporting the Data Platform, manage consumption costs, ensure best practices, and conduct security assessments

As a Data Engineer you should have the following skills:

• Proficiency in CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Release Management
• 2-3 years experience using Azure in a data environment 
• Be familiar with Salesforce tools
• Involvement in development lifecycle 
• Great communication skills
• Understanding of Data Governance and Compliance tools like Purview
• Experience with securing and managing APIs using Azure API Management
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation tools like Power Automate and Power Apps
• Knowledge of data-related tools such as Power BI, Azure Synapse, Data Bricks, and Azure Backup
• Understanding of O365 and Modern Workplace fundamentals, and familiarity with integration tools like Alteryx and Jitterbit
