Our banking client in Frankfurt is seeking a Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (m/f/d) to join their dynamic team. What you'll be responsible for:
As the Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (m/f/d), your role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of our client's operations. Your daily tasks will include handling alerts from the bank's AML and fraud monitoring systems, closely monitoring business relationships, and conducting thorough investigations into potentially risky transactions. You will also contribute to the development of robust internal policies aimed at preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. Your expertise will be crucial in advising employees on money laundering-related matters, supporting the MLRO in processing inquiries, and preparing training content for relevant subjects.
What we're looking for:
The ideal candidate for this Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (m/f/d) role brings extensive experience in auditing, compliance, or internal audit within a credit institution. With at least 8 years of experience, you have a strong understanding of relevant regulatory and legal requirements, including EU and national German laws. Your ability to assess legal subjects in AML/Sanctions/OCA sets you apart. Certifications such as 'Certified Compliance Professional' or 'Certified Fraud Examiner' would be advantageous. Proficiency in Excel or similar data analytics tools, as well as the ability to develop high-quality reports using Word or PowerPoint, are key to your success in this role. The position requires excellent language skills in German and English.
