Position Overview: As a Civil Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of construction drawings and specifications for civil engineering site development projects. Based in Houston or College Station, Texas, you will lead a collaborative team of engineers, Edits, and drafters, delivering innovative and practical designs for our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full project life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring delivery schedules and budgets are met.
Oversee the engineering design of water, sanitary and storm sewer, paving, and drainage facilities.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, government agencies, and project team members.
Lead successful meetings independently with clients, governmental agencies, and internal team members.
Coordinate with other Project Managers to schedule and delegate work to the civil department.
Mentor and monitor the professional development of EST's, designers, and drafters.
Develop and write design proposals for new projects.
Travel occasionally for short-duration trips (1-2 days) as needed.
Requirements:
Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas with 5-10 years of relevant design and project management experience.
In-depth understanding of public and private development codes and ordinances, including experience with the City of Houston and Harris County permitting process.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Ability to relocate to Houston or College Station, Texas if not already based in the area.
