ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

BRISTOL

£55,000 + TRAINING + BENEFITS

Due to securing new contracts, my client are looking to add to their skilled Electrical Design team with the addition of a Mid-Level Electrical Design Engineer.

We are looking for a talented individual, with good experience in the Building Services environment, would will be working on projects for Clients in a range of sectors, such as; Government, Defence, Healthcare, Education and Energy. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be involved in projects from small site surveys through to multi million pound projects.

THE ROLE:

• Designing Lighting systems, Security, fire alarms and Power generation units.
• Providing a crucial link between the Apprentice and the Associate designer.
• Working on a range of projects, from multi- million £ schemes through to small site surveys. Clients in vast range of sectors, including; Aerospace, Energy, Healthcare and Government.
• Work autonomously at times to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
• Produce technical documentation and specifications.
• Provide clients with progress reports.
• Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures, ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Take accountability for maintaining technical performance standards, holding the apprentice to account on these also.

THE PERSON:

• Degree educated in a relevant discipline.
• Experienced in producing reports and specifications.
• Knowledge of Lighting design.
• Knowledge of Cable sizing.
• Confident liaising directly with clients on project progress.
• Previous experience within Building services design - not necessarily for a consultancy
• Experience using StabiCAD is desirable, however training will be provided if required.
