CNC Turner

Salary: £15 - £16 per hour 

Double day shifts, Morning and afternoons

 Gi pro are looking for a CNC Turner in Halesowen’s  on a full time permanent role.

Job Description:

• Operating Webster Bennetts / Berthiez vertical boring machines
• Programming using Siemens Sinumerik controls
• Machining quality components in accordance with technical engineering drawings and specifications
• Handling and machining up to 10 Tonnes.
• Setting and clocking up one off, forged components using clamps, angle plates, etc.
• Use of overhead cranes. (LOLER Training will be provided)
• Correctly identifying parts using hard stamping.
• Deburring components and ensuring they are fit for transportation.
• Maintaining machinery, swarf removal, routine oiling and greasing etc.
• Carry out daily bookings against route card jobs and timings.
• Adhere to and encourage health and safety methods and procedures.
• Inspection for all components throughout the process.

Ideal Candidate:

• need to have Vertical boring / turning experience.
• need to know Siemens programming controls experience
• Must have experience working in a similar forging, heavy engineering industry.
• Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings.
