Summary

Our client SPS Technologies are looking for CNC Operators on a rotating shift, SPS are a large aerospace company, based in Leicester. manufacture nuts, bolts and fasteners. These products are used worldwide in airframe, aero-engine, and space applications SPS' client base include some of the world's largest and well known companies such as Rolls Royce & Airbus 

The Job 

• Operating and running machines in accordance with standard operating procedures 
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools (i.e., Calliper, micrometre etc) at pre-determined frequency
• Working to tight tolerances 
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings.
• Follow and maintain established safety rules and regulations including mandatory wearing of PPE

The Ideal Candidate 

• Previous CNC milling experience at operator level as a minimum 
• Experience in a manufacturing, mechanical or production environment.       
• Able to work with measuring equipment & imperial measurments.     
• Genuine interest the aerospace industry 
• Punctual, motivated and enthusiastic

• Recent engineering qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ 
• Quick and willing learner
• Genuine interest the aerospace industry 
• Punctual, motivated and enthusiastic
