Summary

SPS Technologies are working in partnership as they look to increase their team. Due to retirement of long-standing employees and a large aerospace contract, they need additional centreless grinders to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Job

• Operating and running Centreless Grinding machines
• Using various measuring gauges – verniers, shadow graphs etc
• Reading and working from engineering drawings.
• Working to customer specifications
• General Housekeeping duties

The Candidate

• Must be organised and able to work to a process and ensure stock is moved correctly in specific batches
• Able to work in imperial measurements
• Able to quality check using a variety of tools
•  Must have experience on Centreless or OM grinder
•  Must be clearly conversant in English
• Physically fit as there is a lot of manual work
