What you'll do:

As a Frontend Developer in our team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in developing comprehensive test plans and executing them effectively. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders including product managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements. Your role will involve performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing while documenting results meticulously. You will also design automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools. Your commitment towards improving quality assurance processes will be highly valued.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate software functionality, usability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements and acceptance criteria
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify defects and ensure software quality meets established standards
• Document test results, track defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure early detection of defects
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing objectives, priorities, and timelines
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve quality assurance processes, tools, and methodologies
• Collect and analyse user feedback to identify potential areas for improvement and inform testing strategies

What you bring:

The ideal Frontend Developer will bring a wealth of experience in software quality assurance, particularly in web application testing. You will have a strong academic background, preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Your proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium and Cypress, coupled with your expertise in Typescript / Javascript, will be crucial to your success in this role. A deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies is expected. Experience working in agile development environments and the ability to excel in a remote work setting are also key requirements for this role.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on web application testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress or similar frameworks
• Proficiency in Typescript / Javascript
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience working in agile development environments with knowledge of methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Proven ability to excel in a remote work environment with strong communication and collaboration skills
