GI Pro have permanent role for a TIG Welder Fabricator for our Nottingham based client
Working on a day shift Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 Friday 07:00 – 12:00
Offering pay rate between £14.50ph - £15.00ph
Overtimes paid at a premium (1.5x after 37.5hrs)
This is a permanent contract
The company – Make laboratory equipment, things for funeral directors, mortuary/ morgue/ forensic equipment
The role:
- Welding and fabricating stainless steel bespoke units for morgue equipment – Post Partum tables, fridges where they keep dead bodies etc
- Will all be mild steel fabrications and TIG welding
- Welding and fabricating stainless and mild steel laboratory products
- Welding small batch ancillary items
- Cleaning and polishing fabrications
- Working with press brake, laser, and mechanical assemblers
The candidate
- TIG welding experience essential (preferably thin stainless steel)
- Able to work from engineering drawings to make bespoke parts
