Pay: £14 per hour

Nottingham 

Monday – Thursday: 07.30am – 16:30pm & Friday: 07:30am – 12:30pm

Overtime if available paid at premiumof time 1/2

Summary: Our client based in Nottingham is looking to recruit a Manual Machinist to run their manual grinding machine. This company manufacture machines and parts for a variety of industries across both UK and international markets. The ideal candidate will be skilled in manual machining, be able to read from engineering drawings and ideally have experience within grinding.

The role:

This role covers both new products and existing parts from one offs to small batches.

To set and operate Grinder & Lathes (Turning Machines) with information from technical drawings.

To work to tight tolerances and check own work ensuring it meets quality and technical standards

To work with minimum supervision and efficiency.

Maintain a clean and organised working environment and carry out any routine machine maintenance as required.

Will consider someone from manual grinding, manual miller, manual turner background.
