Our client based in Nottingham are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder or Fabricator to join their family run and well established team. Our client specialises in the structural industry including gantries, staircases, signage, exhibitions, balconies and balustrades.

Job Description: MIG Welder or Fabricator 
Working within the heavy steel industry
MIG welding using drawings
Working out angles and measurements
MIG Welding                                                                                                                 

Fabricating from scratch

Confident taking the job from start to finish                                         

Working with Mild Steel and some stainless

Working with gauges up to 120mm
Use of machinery including grinders, press, guillotine

Confident checking own work

Essential Skills –

Time served MIG Welder or Fabricator

Able to work with mild steel up to 120mm gauges

Desirable Skills –

Overhead crane license

Apprentice trained

TIG welding is advantageous but not essential as mostly MIG

Package:                                                                                                                                         

£15 per hour                                                                                                                 

Overtime paid at a premium
Permanent role
Day shifts – Monday to Friday
