An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a German-speaking e-Billing Specialist to join a global financial advisory firm based in Central London. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and driven individual with experience in finance or billing, looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced and inclusive corporate environment.
Working as part of the firm’s internal Accounting team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of electronic billing (e-Billing), supporting both the client engagement teams and finance department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support complex e-Billing processes across various client accounts
- Upload and monitor invoices across multiple vendor e-Billing platforms
- Maintain and update e-Billing vendor profiles, timekeeper rates, and billing guidelines
- Enter budgets and accruals, ensuring compliance with internal processes
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and external contacts to ensure billing accuracy and timely cash collection
- Maintain detailed documentation of billing procedures and suggest improvements where appropriate
About You:
This role would suit someone with a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. You will be a confident communicator and a strong team player, able to work independently while contributing to a positive team culture.
Profile:
- Native level of German and fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Previous experience in billing, e-Billing, accounts receivable, or a finance-related role
- Familiarity with e-Billing platforms and standards such as LEDES is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience in a professional services or consultancy environment is a plus
