As a(n) Microstrategy Engineer you will:
Must-have requirements:
- Good experience on Creation of Custom Groups, Attributes, Consolidations, Facts, Filters, Attributes and Metrics, Prompts
- Good experience in Tableau and Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience with MicroStrategy applications including dossiers, dashboards, data visualization, data discovery, mobile, data marts and cubes.
- Demonstrated experience architecting the semantic layer and schema objects in MicroStrategy.
- Demonstrated experience with MicroStrategy development tools including Architect, Desktop, Web, Mobile, Object Manager, Enterprise Manager, Command Manager, Integrity Manager
DELIVERABLES OR TASKS:
- Hands-on experience on MicroStrategy 2021 and above e.g. dossiers, documents, MSTR Schema creation, advanced reporting, platform analytics
- Building and developing reporting solutions on MicroStrategy, Tableau and Power BI.
- End-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, reports, cubes, & dashboards
- Designing schema layer to get the required join types.
- Creating and loading cubes, report caches and maintaining distribution services
- Designing star schema data model for the warehouse.
- Developing Public Objects like reports, filters, prompts, metrics, templates, consolidations, custom groups, cubes, etc.
- Experience on admin functionalities of MSTR such as User creation, ACL, Movement of objects using Object manager, setting up of security filters, subscriptions
- Hands on experience on Installation and Deployment of MicroStrategy objects from Development to QA and Production environment.
- Development and Support experience on MicroStrategy, Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience in customer-facing roles for requirements gathering and architecting solutions for BI projects
The Senior MicroStrategy Developer will be responsible for building MicroStrategy applications that provide operational reporting, data visualizations and dashboards, and ad-hoc reporting. Must be proficient in building Dossiers within MicroStrategy.
Must-have requirements:
Good experience on Creation of Custom Groups, Attributes, Consolidations, Facts, Filters, Attributes and Metrics, Prompts
Good experience in Tableau and Power BI.
- 2+ years of experience creating reports and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI tools
