As a Quality Technician, you’ll provide essential support and guidance, ensuring products and processes meet the company’s exacting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary quality contact on the shopfloor, providing support and addressing issues.
  • Conduct internal audits in line with the quality plan.
  • Perform quality checks on samples from core manufacturing processes.
  • Lead initial root cause analyses, focusing on practical and immediate containment measures.
  • Use APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) tools to support and guide colleagues through the quality transformation process.
  • Update documentation and communicate with operators to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Represent quality principles in a professional manner, promoting the company’s commitment to excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • An HNC-level qualification in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a quality role, manufacturing specialty, or inspection (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and APQP fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a methodical, problem-solving mindset.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills, especially in a shopfloor environment.

Additional Information:
This is a shift-based role, with early (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and late (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) shifts on a rotating Monday to Friday schedule, following an initial training period.
