Trade Finance Analyst – Leading commodities trading house (BBBH22576) Singapore River, Central Area, Singapore
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Trade Finance lead, the Trade Finance Analyst will be a key team member of the trade function. Working closely with the trading desks and financial institutions, he/ she will be responsible in handling LCs, processing imports/exports documents for negotiation, and ensuring the company is in compliance with group and banking guidelines. The Trade Finance Analyst will also assist in working capital optimisation in mitigating credit risk exposure.
Requirements
The successful incumbent will possess a degree in a finance discipline (accounting, finance and economics) with at least 5 years of trade finance experience within commodity trading or banks. Trade Finance experience with a focus in energy will be highly advantageous.
You will have experience handling LCs, documentary collections, and issuance of letters of credit. You will be meticulous, possess strong analytical skills in trade finance and be courageous to challenge where required. Strong stakeholder’s management and interpersonal skills will be necessary.
